60 Wedding Anniversary Party

That evening after the picnic at the park we had a family dinner and party for my grandparents.  We ate together and talked and watched a great slide show of my mom and her family when they were growing up.

My mom and her sisters doing a song and dance for their parents.  They sang, "There once was a farmer who took a young miss". (They are in costume if you couldn't tell!)

We had a "Posterity Parade" after the dinner.  All the grandkids and greatgrandkids lined up in order in the hallway holding a flag with our name and in our family's color.  We marched to "76 Trompones" and waved our flags and cheered as our grandparents and parents watched.  My mom lead the parade.  I hadn't seen her walk yet and it was amazing.  I am so proud of her!  I can't believe how far she has come!

and more!

All of us together: 29 Grandkids and 29 Greatgrandkids
It was a fun party and we all got to visit and get to know eachother as adults and parents.  And we celebrated our grandparents who started this whole thing.  It was a great night!

So fun!! And how neat that your mom was able to walk for the parade!
