1. Tea Party
My neice Livi (I know Livi and Lily-super confusing and hard to say the right name fast. Her name is really Alivia and since my sister stole the name from me-right from my high school journal-and Gage's name too might I add-I had to get as close as possible to that name with my baby. We're thinking Gabe for a boy... Just kidding-about the getting as close as possible part-we didn't even think about their names being close until later-but the rest is true) turned 4! She had a tea party and all the girls were so fancy and cute with their aprons and cheese sticks on a toothpick. They sipped their "tea" and decorated cupcakes and Lily loved being a big girl!

Erick and I went and stayed a night in the Bed and Breakfast we stayed at on our wedding night. My parents watched Lily and we got to sleep soundly without listening for a baby for the first time in over a year. We also slept in so late we missed breakfast!

My other sister is a Life Guard at Roaring Springs and she got us some tickets into the park. Lily loved the river ride and the kiddie pool!
4. Garden Party
Every night at my parent's house is like a garden party. They have a big, beautiful yard and Lily loved smelling the flowers, picking blackberries and raspberries with Poppy, chasing the cats, and playing with her cousins. (I just realized that I took a ton of pictures with my mom's camera so I will post those when I get them).
5. Johnson Family Reunion
Erick's family had a reunion in Lower Stanley, Idaho. His great grandpa used to go fishing there. Crazy because my family has been going to Redfish Lake which is about 10 miles away since my mom was a baby. Unfortunately our reunions weren't the same week! We stayed in cabins and hiked, went to the lake, beaded some necklaces, made homemade ice cream, played Catch Phrase, had many rousing games of Bocci Ball, and saved many a cousin from running right down the grassy bank into the river! Oh and a lot of fishing went on too. (For many more pics click on Johnson Family Reunion on the side under "See More Pics of the Lil".)

6. Girl Photo Op
The girl cousins all had this adorable white dress thanks to Aunt Shannon and Becky and so we tried to get all 3 little girls under 3 smiling and in one place for a picture!

7. Chinook Salmon
My brothers-in-laws (Matt, Matt, and Dan Dan I know tricky) went for a last late night fishing trip and Matt affectionately known as Matty Lou caught a giant Chinook Salmon! Unfortunately none of the boys had a camera but I believe them just the same. To hear an even better version of the story click here http://hillersinvegas.blogspot.com/2008/08/6-lb-line.html because M. Hiller is quite the story teller!
8. More Water Fountains
We stopped at a cool water fountain in Eagle on our way back to my parents house. I took the kids I used to work with here in high school and they loved it too!

9. Erick's 27th Birthday!
Erick had his birthday the day after we got home. I made him his favorite ice cream cake and we got some yummy take-out. Thanks for all the cards and moolah! They went to good use!

10. Sick, sick, sick!
Lily had a fever of 103 and an ear and throat infection by the time we got home. I guess she was done with vacation!

You know I have never had a family reunion. They sure look like fun. Lily is getting so big! I can't believe she is already walking. We miss having you guys as neighbors!
Okay just for the record - I swear on everything holy that I did NOT break into Megan's high school diary and intentionally steal her baby names. I promise I came up with them fair and square all by myself, and if you really want to whole name story, call me anytime and I will make it utterly clear to you that I did NOT STEAL MEGAN'S BABY NAMES!!!
Okay, so after that tantrum - it was really fun having you guys around this summer. We missed you at Redfish - but once you've camped in the dirt for a week, you start to wish you were the one who couldn't make it!!
Hope Lily is feeling better, and we're dying to see pictures of those cute earrings on that baby.
I see that you were able to change your blog background - did you lose all your links and had to reinstate? I know - so annoying.
Oh, by the way, not trouble for Jenny.
Talk to you soon..
What a fun big blog. Way to go!! happy late birthday Erick! it looked like you guys have been having the greatest summer. I loved the tea party. And I love seeing pictures of all your brothers and sisters. I miss you guys. I think it is the cutest thing that you all have a baby girl and they are all so cute and adorable. Hopefully one day I will run into you and be able to meet your super cute wife and daughter.
We stayed in a cabin in lower Stanely this year too! Since we had little Reg my parents decided a cabin would be easier than a tent. Isn't it so nice to have a nice bed, shower, bathroom, and kitchen?!
Sounds like a really fun vacation! I love the tea party idea. I can't wait until Brooke is old enough to do something like that. You guys are such a cute family. I'm glad you enjoyed yourselves in Idaho.
