My mom came for a long visit last winter (well winter in Idaho, spring in California!). She needed to get out of the cold in Idaho and we needed her to stay with us for a few weeks! Poppy came for a few days and dropped her off. We took advantage of him being here with lots of story times and wrestling matches!

Of course we took Mimi to Chick Fil A for family night so she could see the face painter in action! She also gave several water painting classes to my girls and we stayed up late practicing our poppies one night!
Beau turned 10 months old while she was here and Rosy tried on hill billy teeth...
We celebrated Easter with a few Easter egg hunts with our cousins while they were in town and went to the Johnson's for Easter Dinner
We squeezed in some shopping...
Beau got stuck in a few secret spots and helped Mimi with some of her physical therapy
And we had a girls night out complete with dinner, dessert, and shopping! It was wonderful to have her here not just for a few days but for a few weeks. It felt like we really got to spend time talking and enjoying each other without the worry of heading back home so soon! We really hope she comes again this year!
